Why not dessert??

Peanut Butter Cup Pie

I totally tried this recipe a few weeks ago, took it to a friends, and then the leftovers from work. It was an all-around hit. If you like Reece's PB Cups, you'll like this! And it was super easy.

1 8oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
1/2c. creamy peanut butter
1c. cold milk
1 3.4ox pkg Vanilla Instant pudding
2-1/2c. cool whip, thawed
3 squares of Bakers semi-sweet chocolate
1 6oz. Oreo pie crust

Beat the cream cheese and 1/2c of the PB together. Once it's well blended, add milk and pudding mix. Beat for 2 min. Whisk in 1c. of Cool Whip, spoon into crust. Refrigerate.

Meanwhile, microwave remaining Cool Whip and chocolate in a bowl 2min or until completely melted and blended, stir each minute. Cool completely. (This is crazy because the cool whip is clear when melted... weird!)

Spread the chocolate mixture over the pudding layer in the crust. Microwave remaining peanut butter in a small bowl for 30sec. Stir. Drizzle over pie. (So it looks pretty!)

Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
